By using EDJE, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service — simple as that.

1. Eligibility

• You must be 18 or older to use EDJE (21+ in some US states).
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.
• You must not be on any US OFAC sanctions list or located in a jurisdiction we're prohibited from serving.
• EDJE is not available to residents of countries where prediction markets or related research is illegal.

2. What EDJE does — and doesn't

What we do

• Publish research and analytics on publicly traded prediction markets
• Mirror public odds from Kalshi, Polymarket, and other prediction venues
• Run a four-model AI ensemble (Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Perplexity) through a trained reconciliation engine
• Provide educational tools including Scenario Lab (paper-trading) and Shadow Portfolio (paper-tracking)
• Sell subscriptions to premium research tiers

What we don't

• Operate, settle, or custody any prediction market
• Accept real-money wagers
• Hold or custody your money (except subscription fees)
• Provide personalized investment, legal, or tax advice
• Guarantee any outcome or forecast accuracy

3. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account per person — sharing accounts violates these terms.
• Notify us immediately at support@getedje.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
• We can suspend or terminate accounts for breaches of these terms, fraud, or illegal activity.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid tiers are billed through Stripe (web) or Apple/Google (in-app purchase).
• All fees are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• Cancel anytime — monthly plans end at the next renewal date, annual plans are prorated within the first 30 days.
• No refunds for partial periods after the first 30 days of an annual plan.
• If you dispute a charge, contact us first at billing@getedje.com — we almost always resolve directly.

5. Intellectual property

• EDJE®, "Predict Responsibly®", "Your Personal Prediction Assistant", our trained game-theory engine, and all research we publish are our intellectual property.
• You can share individual research notes with proper attribution and a link back to the original URL.
• You cannot scrape, redistribute, or build a competing product from our research without a commercial license — see licensing@getedje.com.
• Market odds mirrored from Kalshi and Polymarket are their property, used under their public API terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use EDJE for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or clone the service
• Use automated bots to access the service without a licensed API agreement
• Attempt to manipulate, suppress, or inflate any forecast or market odds we display
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Transmit malicious code, exploit vulnerabilities, or probe our infrastructure
• Resell your subscription access

7. Investment, legal, and financial disclaimers

• EDJE is not a registered broker-dealer or investment advisor.
• Nothing on EDJE constitutes an offer to buy or sell any security, contract, or financial product.
• We do not tell you how much to trade. Any Kelly-criterion position sizing we publish is a mathematical reference, not a recommendation.
• Consult a licensed advisor before making any financial decision.

8. Responsible gambling

If you or someone you know has a gambling problem:

EDJE honors every account-deletion request within 24 hours and will permanently block re-subscription on request.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EDJE AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify EDJE from any claims arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

Either party can terminate at any time. On termination, your access ends immediately but these terms survive to the extent necessary (IP, liability limits, dispute resolution).

12. Dispute resolution

• Governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
• Any dispute must first be attempted to be resolved by informal good-faith negotiation.
• Unresolved disputes go to binding arbitration under the AAA Consumer Rules in Los Angeles County, CA.
• Class actions are waived — all disputes must be brought individually.
• You can opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first use by emailing legal@getedje.com.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
